Modules

Modules
Index: Modules
Throughout the world of Feudal Alloy, you can find upgrade modules in the chests; these tiny things will notably change your gameplay and open different abilities on how you traverse the areas and approach the combat. Once you pick up the module, press the inventory button, and you can find all that you have acquired to this point in the fourth tab with the description and buttons to activate them. In every area (map), there is one module, so there are ten modules in total, and some of them will be required for you to progress further in the game.

Modules

  • Bomb module
Activates the ability to throw different kinds of bombs. Found in the chest on map 1; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. With ability to throw bombs you are able to break through sturdy obstacles like concrete walls since your sword is not enough to destroy them. Furthermore you can battle normally unbreakable enemies, like variations with crystal or reinforced armor, with shock grenades, molotovs and ice grenades.

  • Dash module
This little thing enables the ability to perform a short dash. Found in the chest on map 2; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. Dash ability will allow you to access a lot of previously unreachable platforms since now you can make large leaps where you jump and dash in the air. Dash will also make combat or evading combat significantly better by dashing through the enemies, which you can do without taking any damage due to it having few invincibility frames; only make sure to not dash too early.

  • Block module
Activates the ability to block incoming melee attacks with your sword. Found in the chest on map 3; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. Blocking will allow you to block attacks with exception of the large version of the enemies, furthermore you can block the projectiles from turrets or bouncing grenades from black armored beetle. This ability will get even better when you upgrade your skill tree with the parry. Then, if you push the block button as the enemy is starting to attack, it will be stunned, giving you time to demolish it.

  • Electromagnetic pulse module
Activates a big electromagnetic pulse that stun enemies and throws away bombs and projectiles. Found in the chest on map 4; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. The pulse will allow you to destroy electronic walls that blocked off some parts of the map, and stun and damage the enemies in a small radius around you will help you in dire situations. This pulse will allow you to destroy walls from electronic panels (vertical and horizontal) to access previously blocked off areas.

  • Electric wave module
With this tiny thing your body can throw an electric discharge in front of you. Found in the chest on map 5; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. This ability will allow you to destroy steel pipe blocks to open previously blocked-off parts of the areas. Furthermore, it will help you to damage enemies from afar, and it is especially useful in shooting down helicopters.

  • Double jump module
Activates the ability to perform a double jump in the air. Found in the chest on map 6; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. Double jump, like dash before, will largely improve your exploring endeavors; you will be able to reach parts of the map you couldn't beforehand as well as make combat easier by allowing you to be more lenient with your jumps or make escapes safer.

  • Electric punch module
Handles the power of throwing an electric discharge above and below your body. Found in the chest on map 7; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. The punch will allow you to destroy electronic ceiling blocks to open new parts of the map and will be useful against flying enemies, especially helicopters.

  • Red energy module
This activates the red energy power added to melee attacks. Found in the chest on map 8; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. You will have to use a dedicated button to switch the colors on your weapon. Once you do, you will see a visual effect around your sword. Once you pick up both colored modules, you will be toggling between normal, red, and yellow effects on your sword. When you have red energy activated, you are able to destroy red blocks to open new parts of the map.

  • Wall jump module
Manages the ability to use wall magnets. Found in the chest on map 9; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. This ability will allow you to stick to the wall to make another jump. This can only be used on special walls with metal, so there aren't many instances to use it.

  • Yellow energy module
This activates the yellow energy power added to melee attacks. Found in the chest on map 10; if more assistance is needed, follow the full map guide. You will have to use a dedicated button to switch the colors on your weapon. Once you do, you will see a visual effect around your sword. Once you pick up both colored modules, you will be toggling between normal, red, and yellow effects on your sword. When you have yellow energy activated, you are able to destroy yellow blocks to open new parts of the map.
